You will be pleased to hear that Crouch Valley Koi Society will be holding one of its very popular auctions again this year.
The auction will once again be held at Buckhatch Nursery & Garden Centre East Hanningfield Road Rettendon Common Chelmsford Essex CM3 8EW

What do you need to know
The auction is on Sunday 29th September
We open for viewing at 10.00am and start the auction at 11.00am
With an anticipated 250 lots expected, there’s bound to be a koi to suit everyone’s pond along with some dry goods/equipment
Each lot is individually bagged with oxygen and cardboard boxes are available free of charge to aid transporting your purchases home.
Entry to the auction remains at £3.00 but if you wish to bid, you will need a bidding card costing £5.00 (no sharing please).
Those who have attended before will note the bidding card cost is new but with the rising costs of staging this event (e.g. venue hire, water, bags, oxygen, boxes) we have had to find a way to mitigate these. As buyers, unlike at most auctions where you would pay between 10% and 22% commission, you pay none (all commission is paid by the sellers) but there is a limit on what we can charge our own members to sell their koi and remain viable. We hope you agree that a flat fee of £5.00 regardless of how many lots you buy or how much you spend is good value and means you know the hammer price is the price you pay.
