The Crouch Valley Koi Club is a section of the BKKS, and has been active for twenty four years. In 2015 we celebrated our 25th Anniversary as a koi club and a section of the BKKS.

We are based in Essex but have members from all over the United Kingdom. We have in excess of 80 family members, with members being young, old, male, female, experienced or beginners, all are welcome.

We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 8pm at the Laindon Community Centre. These meetings include a wide variety activities, talks and presentations from professionals and other koi keepers, including open forums.

All of our meetings provide a great opportunity for old and new members to benefit from the experience of some of our members who have been keeping Koi for a long time.

Over the next few weeks we will take the club into the future, but this will be on the tried and tested method, that this is a club for koi keepers and their families to relax and enjoy the hobby.
If any one has any requests, please email me.

We have great pleasure in announcing that our koi show this year will be another Open Show.

We will hold our Open Show in the same barn we use for our auctions. Plans for the show have been swiftly drawn up by the Show Committee, lead by Alan Hurley, who has masterminded our Closed Shows for many years now and delivered anamazingfiest open show last year.

The format of the show is closely based on our succeessful Closed Show format. There will be twenty vats available to exhibitors and we hope to have the support of some of our local koi dealers at the show. Full details of the show and the documents necessary for exhititors can be found on the Open Show 2016 page, which will be updated regularly to keep our membership and the wider koi community informed about the show.
