The Crouch Valley Koi Club was formed in 1990, and until its demise at the end of 2025 was a section of the British Koi Keepers Society (BKKS).

We are based in Essex but have members from all over the United Kingdom. We have approximately  60 family members, with members of all ages and genders, experienced or beginners, all welcome.

We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at the Wick Community Centre, Wickford, SS12 9NR, starting at 8pm. Occasionally meetings may be held at an alternative venue like a members garden. These meetings include a wide variety activities, talks and presentations from professionals and other koi keepers, including open forums. Find out what a year in the Crouch has to offer here

All of our meetings provide a great opportunity for old and new members to benefit from the experience of some of our members who have been keeping Koi for a long time. Find out more about membership here
